He is survived by: his parents, Robert Charles Ulysses Vessot and Marguerite Yvonne Vessot (Giauque); his wife Norma Newman Vessot (Wight); his grandchildren, Alex Gardiner, Tory Gardiner, Lindsay Lyons, Hannah Lyons, Ben Thorne and Sam Thorne; and also, Judy Gardiner (Joel), Peggy Lyons (Tim Moran) and Nancy Thorne (Charlie).
