He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Norma Hirsh (Berman); and his children, Stephen Hirsh (Caryn Abroms), Sandra Hirsh Goverman (Brad), David Hirsh, Daniel Hirsh (Ruth) and Judith Hirsh Kane (Jack).

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be donated to the Anti-Defamation League.
