He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Shoenig and Frances Shoenig (Wasserman); and his siblings, Marilyn Cornez and Harold Shoenig. He is survived by: his wife Nili Shoenig (Teichner); his children, Lauren Jonas (Larry), Karen, Michael and David Shoenig; his granddaughters, Sara and Erica Jonas; and his sisters, Naomi Samber and Roselyn Frank.
