He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rita Shaffer (Hooker); his sons, Adam Shaffer (Yvette) of Kingwood, TX, Noah Shaffer (Kelly) of Charleston, SC and Joshua Shaffer (Amy) of West Hartford, CT.; his siblings, Milton Shaffer (Ruth) of Danvers, Burt and Toby Shaffer of Florida; and his grandchildren, Kate, Aidan and Luke.
