He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Jonathan Rankin and Danielle Markovsky (Ronald); his stepchildren, Susan Sidney and David Lacey (Nancy); his grandchildren, Cameron, Tyler Markovsky and Victoria Cottam-Rankin; his stepgrandchildren, Maria Lacey, Nicola Sidney and Jason Sidney (Harriet); his stepgreat-grandchild Freya Daisy Sidney; and his parents, Daniel Rankin and Sophie Rankin (Lederer).
