He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria A. Sacks (Matloff); his parents, Sidney Sacks and Dorothy Sacks (Ehrlich); and his siblings, Harvey Sacks and Joanne Freedman.

He is survived by: his daughters, Judi Shurtleff (Harry), Lauren Provensal (Yozef) and Heidi Fabrizio (Tony); his grandsons, Roman, Alexander and Marcus; and his cousins, Elaine Rabinovitz and Sheela Kirpalani. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
