She was predeceased by: her parents, Eli Cohen and Fannie Cohen; her husband Joseph Kooris; and her sister Eileen Nagler. She is survived by: her sister Madeline O'Shea; her children, Geoffrey Kooris (Melanie), Shelley Kooris and Emily Kooris (Stephen Kirsch); her grandchildren, Sarah Kooris Siebold (Karim Wahba) and David Kooris (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Michaela, Fina, Lena and Liora; and her pet Abe.
Phyllis was an eternal optimist, even during the difficult isolation of Covid.
