She was predeceased by : her son Mark; and her sister Cynthia Stone. She is survived by : her husband David Koonce; her children, Karin Alper (Michael) of Chestnut Hill, Erik Koonce (Kelly) of Chalfont, PA and Jonathan Koonce; her stepsons, David Koonce of Boxborough, Jeffrey Koonce (Irene) of Canyon Lake, TX and Michael Koonce (Lee) of Mashpee; her siblings, Suzanne Kittredge of Yarmouthport, Marcia Huse of Centerville, Kenneth Stone of Charlestown and Deborah Fiore of Merrimack, NH; and her grandchildren, Robert, Daniel Alper, Grace, Matthew and Mary Koonce. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in lieu of flowers.
