He is survived by : his sister Alice Fitzgerald of Wakefield; the mother of his children Gloria Doughty of Maine; his children, Leanne Velichansky (Lenny) of Medfield, Nicholas H. Fitzgerald, III (Jennifer) of Fort Collins, CO, Darcy Biltekoff (Robert) of Buffalo, NY and Sharon Fitzgerald (Steve DeCosse) of Sebastopol, CA.; and his close friend Mildred Nicastro of New Jersey. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
