Irene Mary (McPhee) McAleavey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Irene Mary (McPhee) McAleavey of Chelsea, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter McPhee and Mary McPhee (Richard); her husband Edward McAleavey; and her siblings, Alan, Paul, Louis McPhee and Mary.

She is survived by: her brother Peter McPhee of South Dakota; her friend Angie DeSantis of Medford; and her daughters, Lilly and Debbie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (118 High St, Medford, MA 02155).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in Irene's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorials Processing, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
