John McCarthy Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John McCarthy of Chelsea, Massachusetts, born in Medford, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 5, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Anne; and his parents, John McCarthy and Frances McCarthy (Youngman). He is survived by: his sister Frances Chetty (McCarthy); his sons, John McCarthy of Rowley, MA, Brian McCarthy (Debbie) of Danvers, MA and Michael McCarthy (Kelly) of Andover, MA.; his grandchildren, Michael McCarthy (Laura) of Danvers, MA., Kenadie McCarthy Danvers and Emmi; his great grandchild Nathan; and his sibling's children, Terry Austin and Darrell Austin of Michigan.

All attendees are required to wear face coverings, practice social distancing when greeting the family, pay their respects and exit the funeral home to allow other guests to enter.

Jack liked to visit the casinos but seeming to only make donations but at least he was having fun.
