He was predeceased by: his parent Arthur A.; his wife Patricia Ann Monahan (Varnadore); and his brothers-in-law, Louise Drinan (John), Francis Casey and Robert Martin.
He is survived by: his parent Louise Monahan (Cassino); his daughters, Linda Monahan (Bruce) of Chicopee, Mailhott Monahan-Brown of Chicopee and Diana L. Monahan-Brown (Mark Rhodes) of Chicopee; his grandchildren, Michael C. Whalen (Erin), Kylie P. Brown and Patrick M. Brown; his great grandchildren, Landen A. Whalen and Liliana A. Whalen; and his sisters, Patricia Casey and Marilyn Martin. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, numerous friends.
For those who prefer, his family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to the Soldiers' Home in Holyoke, 110 Cherry Street, Holyoke, MA 01040.
