She was predeceased by: her parents, George Benoit and Lena Benoit; her husband Armand Desroches; and her siblings, Richard, George, Delor, Walter, Luvina, Nina, Irene and Evelyn.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Amell (Frances) of Westfield, Nina Amell-Redin (Robert) of Ludlow, Kim Taliceo of Chicopee and Theresa Racine; her sister Rev. Shirley Benoit of Bristol, CT.; her grandchildren, Alan, Jason, Mark and Shawn; her great grandchildren, Robert, Mia, Zoe, Matthew and Liliana; her friends, Jackie and Phil Burek of Mt. Dora, FL; and her pets, Midnight and Angel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
