She was predeceased by: her parent Stanley Gwozdz; her husband Edward J. "Springy" Polchlopek, Sr.; her son-in-law Evan Smith; and her sisters, Bertha Rzeszutek, Lorraine Anischik, Stella Sypek, Josephine Robak and Jean Keaton.
She is survived by: her parent Louise Gwozdz (Dombek); her children, Frances M. Smith of Ludlow and Edward J. Polchlopek, Jr.; her significant other Jane Gilbert of Chicopee; her grandchildren, Christopher Gilbert (Nichole), Jeffrey Gilbert (Amy), Edward J. Polchlopek III and Katherine Costello (Brian); and also Sandra P. Gilbert (Bruce) of Auburn, NH. She is also survived by great grandchildren who were the lights of her life, Abigail Gilbert, Beckett Gilbert, Jacob Gilbert, Colby Gilbert, Kendall Gilbert, and Ashley Costello; and many nieces and nephews.
