He was predeceased by: his parent Patrick J.; his siblings, Joseph P. Leahy, Rita Leahy Manning (Daniel) and Mary Leahy Ottani; and his sister-in-law Mary Kavanaugh Quinn.
He is survived by: his parent Nora T. Leahy (Howard); his wife Ellen M. Leahy (Kavanaugh); his children, Joan M. Leahy, Ken Pulsford of Chicopee and John J. Leahy, Jr.; his wife Darci Leahy of Suffield, CT; his grandsons, John J. Leahy, III, Patrick D. Leahy, Michael P. Leahy and Jake P. Leahy; his siblings-in-law, Eileen Leahy of Springfield, Kathleen "Kay" Hanifan (Thomas) of Chicopee and Daniel Kavanaugh (Phyllis) of Chicopee; and also Patrick J. Leahy (Joan) of East Longmeadow. He is also survived by his many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
