He was predeceased by: his parent Clifford Vermette; and his siblings, Clifford Vermette, Freddy Vermette, Theresa Thomas and Rose Frainey.
He is survived by: his parent Helen Vermette (Tracy); his children, Sara Vermette and Joseph Michael Vermette; his former wife Victoria Vermette (Jurkowski) of South Hadley; his siblings, George Vermette, John Vermette and Lydia Vermette; and his grandson Yareil.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Joe's memory may be made to Hospice of the Fisher Home, 1165 North Pleasant St., Amherst, MA 01002.
