She was predeceased by: her parent Philemon M.; her husband Loyde F. "Larry" Banister; and her brother Richard Cote (Doris). She is survived by: her parent Henrietta M. Cote (Asselin); her daughters, Louise King (Paul Soja) of Chicopee, Christina Carbaugh (John Nimchick) of Chicopee and Theresa Banister of Chicopee; her grandchildren, Matthew King, Melissa Motta (Giuseppe), Tonna Dieter (Eric), Rachael Carbaugh and Richard Betterton; and her nieces and nephews, Diane Bissonnette, Marie O'Connor and David Cote.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that memorial donations be made in her memory to Lorraine's Soup Kitchen and Pantry, 170 Pendexter Avenue, Chicopee, MA 01013 or to the Harmony House of Western MA, P.O. Box 6135, Holyoke, MA 01041-6135.
