He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Bennis and Lottie Bennis (Navroth). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy R. Bennis (Joyal); his children, Steven Bennis of San Antonio, TX and Pamela Maiolo (James) of South Hadley; his stepchildren, Cheryl Wilcox (Bob), Mark Sanuita (Stacy) and Jodie Moore (Dan); and his sister Phyllis Byers of New Mexico.
