He is survived by: his wife Marlene A. Purchase of Chicopee; his son James R. Purchase (Janice Marine); his stepchildren, Mark A. Howland (Tammie), Susan L. Hanson of Easthampton, CT and Nancy A. Lashley (Baird) of Millville; and his son-in-law David Hanson of Marlborough, CT. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
