He was predeceased by : his mother Barbara Costa Ogg. He is survived by : his wife Kathleen McDonald Costa; his daughters, Kerri Costa of Quincy and Katelyn Costa (Terry Barthelemy) of Hull; his siblings, Cheri O'Bryan (Rick O'Bryan) of Rockland, David Costa of Connecticut and Kathy Costa of Brighton; and his brothers-in-law, Jimmy McDonald of Hingham and John McDonald (Paulina) of Hingham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Scituate Animal Shelter.
