He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Plante and Malvine Plante (Blanchette); and his siblings, Lorayne Ramsdal of Gloucester, Leo and Arthur Plante.
He is survived by: his wife Edna; his children, Kathy (Peter Fournier), David (Terri Plante), Paula (Tom Perry) and Tommy (Juliette Plante); his grandchildren, Shannon, Michelle, Trevor, Amanda, Stephen, Kevin and Brandon; his great grandchildren, Thomas, Charlotte and Anthony; and his sister Joan Valincourt of Beverly.
