He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eileen R. McCarthy (Audet) of Danvers and Robert McCarthy; his sister Sheila M. Laffy (John); his nephew Jack Laffy; and his aunts, Irene Johnson (Richard), Eleanor Hay and Anne Lyons (Gordon "Skip"). He was also cherished by several cousins and many friends.
