He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Clarkson and Corine A. Clarkson (Georgini); his brother Robert Clarkson; and his brother-in-law Martin Kelley. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Clarkson (Kolis); his children, Kathryn Clarkson Burne (Andrew) of Long Beach, CA and Jeffrey Clarkson (Kimberly) of Gloucester, MA; his grandsons, Dylan Rose and Jonathan Clarkson of Dorchester, MA.; his sister Nancy Kelley of Adams, MA; his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Clarkson of Florida, Gail Sellers (Phil) of North Adams, Lynn Herlihy (Jim) of Pennsylvania and William Kolis (Donna) of Ohio; and his mother-in-law Mary Jane Kolis of Adams. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
