He is survived by: his wife Antonia Wolniewicz (van Bommel); his children, Mechelina (Peter Hjorth), Mark (Janet Wolniewicz), Richard (Kathy Wolniewicz), Laura (Charles Lindberg) and David (Catherine Wolniewicz); his grandchildren, Christopher Hjorth, Erica Hjorth, Dylan Wolniewicz, Jennifer Lindberg, Kelly Lindberg, Sarah Wolniewicz, Benjamin Wolniewicz, Robert Wolniewicz and Jack Wolniewicz; and his great grandchildren, Alexander Esposito and Ethan Hjorth.
