Elizabeth McGowan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth McGowan of Danvers, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 15, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James McGowan Sr.; and her sister Isabella Banks. She is survived by: her children, James Jr. of Medford, Pamela Hellihan (George) of Revere and Sheryl McGowan of Danvers; her siblings, Clara Kenney, John "Sunny" Burton (Lillian) and Elsie Halwix; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jimmy, Stephen, Matthew and Shamus. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
