He was predeceased by: his wife Athena K. Sheedy (Chipouras); his parents, Michael Sheedy and Bridget Sheedy (Ahearn); and his siblings, Margaret Murphy (Sheedy), Mary Moran (Sheedy), John Sheedy, Thomas Sheedy (Tom) and Robert Sheedy (Bob).
He is survived by: his children, Michael Sheedy (Colleen Lentine) of Merrimac, MA, Diane Nelson (Monte) of Tyngsborough, MA, James B. Sheedy of Danvers, MA and Donna Sheedy of Portland, OR.; and his grandchildren, Jessica Sheedy, Kaitlyn Correa (Luis), Emily Sheedy, Kyle Sheedy and Katherine Nelson. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
