He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Jean Wilkins (Summit); his parents, William Wilkins and Mary Wilkins (LaBorde); his son William Wilkins; and his sister Dorothy Maxim.
He is survived by: his children, John Wilkins Jr. (Janet) of Selkirk, NY, Richard Wilkins and Cynthia Carbone (Brian) of Beverly; his grandchildren, Peter, Emma Wilkins, Nathan Jones, Christopher, Collin Carbone, Katherine Nessen and Allison Wilkins; his siblings, Jacqueline Nancy Kotkowski of Beverly and William Wilkins Jr. (Phyllis Pratt) of Danvers; and his son Robert Wilkins.
