She was predeceased by: her parents, Rene Ruest and Irma Ruest (Cotton); her sister Carol Ferris; and her daughter Patty. She is survived by: her children, Michael Barton (Janice) of Peabody, Tracy Atwater (Robert) of Manchester, David Barton (Maria) of Saugus and Kelly Bradshaw (Brian) of Bedford; her sister Lorraine Vogel; and her husband Buddy. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Donations can be made in her name to Care Dimensions in Danvers. During Nancy's battle with Alzheimer's, the family would like to thank them for their support in making her sing and smile.
