He was predeceased by: his grandson Ronald Harris. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Melanson (Stanton); his children, Paula (Kevin O'Brien) of Braintree, William Melanson of West Roxbury, Linda (Walter Burke) of West Roxbury, Geraldine (Wayne Partello) of Norwood and Beth (Michael Lehane) of Bridgewater; and his grandson Daniel Melanson. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
