She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Field and Lillienne Field (Lucier); her sibling Odile Bertrand; her husband Paul P. Armstrong; and her son Richard Armstrong.
She is survived by: her siblings, Anna Robinson and Raymond Field; her children, Paul Armstrong (Betsy) of Nevada, James Armstrong (Linda Waldie) of Beverly, Michael Armstrong (Linda) of Danvers, Charlene Stoffel (Edward) of Stephens City and Neal Armstrong of Gardner; her grandchildren, Richard, Darcy, Grant, Brooke, Melissa and Abby; and her great grandchildren, Heidi, Emma and Amelia. She is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She loved recounting adventures on her bicycle with her childhood dog, "Tiny," gardening in the backyard, and making scrapbooks and knitted blankets for donation.
