He was predeceased by: his parents, Conde Girard and Mildred Girard (Rackliff); and his sister Betty Charland. He is survived by: his wife Ann M. Girard (Slazenik); his sons, Todd Girard (Kelly Kawahara) of Maui, HI and David Girard (Erika Louanis) of Billerica; his grandchildren, Aiden, McKenzie of Maui, HI, Gavin and Ethan of Billerica; his aunt Beverly; his uncle Robert Ogiba of Danvers; his brothers-in-law, Henry Slazenik of Danvers and James Slazenik of Las Cruces, NM; and his brother Robert Girard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Richard's memory to a charity of one's choice.
