He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenzo Claveau and Helen Claveau (Kowalski). He is survived by: his wife Diane S. "Dido" Claveau; his daughter-in-law Taramae Claveau of Danvers; and his sister Loretta Orgettas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave., Salem, MA 01970.
