She is survived by: her children, William E. Shanahan, III (Karen) of Scarborough, ME, Michael H. Shanahan (Mary) of Marblehead and Deidre A. Wray (David) of Walpole; and her grandchildren, Caitlin Cann of Essex, Margaret Gleason of Essex, Bradley Cooke of Essex, William Shanahan (Ted) of Rye, NY, Michael Shanahan of New York, NY, Elizabeth Wilkie of Boston, David Wray (Trip) of Charlotte, NC and Clare Shanahan of Detroit, MI.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers she asked that people do something nice for a charity of their choice or a person in need.
