He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Lanphear and Ida F. Lanphear (Martin). He is survived by: his brothers, William (Deborah Lanphear) and Roger (Ann Lanphear); his former wife Ann Lanphear (Reiss); his stepdaughter Crystal Burke; and his former wife's daughter Nora.
