He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael McCarthy and Mary McCarthy (Hogan); and his siblings, Marion Stepenuk, Dorothy Sheehan, Ralph, Raymond and Arthur McCarthy.
He is survived by: his wife Joan McCarthy (Collins); his children, Stephanie Waldroup (Richard), Linda Faneuf (Richard), James McCarthy (Maureen) and Karen Auen (Mark Poulin); his sister-in-law Theresa McCarthy; and his great grandchildren, Hazel, Madeline Lane and Luke Wendlandt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
