He was predeceased by : his son Aaron Pereira. He is survived by : his parents, Luis H. Pereira, Sr. and Anna Pereira (Sylvia); his close friend Sherry Prenda of Dartmouth; his children, Justin L. Pereira of New Bedford and Candice S. Pereira of New Bedford; and his siblings, Anna Melo (Kevin) of New Bedford, Andrew Pereira (Sherry) of New Bedford, Matthew Pereira of New Bedford, Chris Pereira (Leslie) of Dartmouth and Thomas Pereira (Sarah Sawyer-Poper) of New Bedford. He is also survived by 8 nephews and 1 niece.
