He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Houton and Mary Houton (Toland) of Donegal, Ireland.; and his siblings, Anna (late Val McGann), Charles Houton and Patricia Houton.
He is survived by: his daughter Mariah G. (Russ Blaine) of Chelmsford; his grandchildren, John "Jack" and Ryan Blaine; his foster child Dr. Hong Duong of California; his siblings, John Houton (Ellen Kanter) of Buzzards Bay, Thomas Houton (Donna) of Beverly, Catherine (Joseph Benedict) of Mystic, CT and Roseleen (late George Pyne) of Milford; his wife Kathleen Kilgore of Naples, FL.; and his close friend Angela Durkin of Quincy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
