He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Josefina "Fina" Teixeira (Pontes) of Curral Grande; his grandchildren, Tanya Alves (Carl Alves) of Dartmouth and John; his great grandchildren, Christian, Madison Alves, Jaiden and Tysen Teixeira; his siblings, Francisco "Bebelo" Teixeira, Maria "Tutuzinha" Teixeira, Dirce Baptista, Antonio "Tutu" Teixeira and Raul De Pina; his father John "Toi" Teixeira; his daughter Andrea; and his close friends, King, Chow Chow, Tiny and Toy Manchester Terrier. He was also cherished by many extended family and friends.
