It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Swanson of Dorchester, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 2, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph O. Swanson and Anna McCarron Swanson of Dorchester, MA.; and his siblings, Joseph Swanson and Karen Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Lyons Swanson; his sisters, Janice Lucey (Jack) of Punta Gorda, FL and Mary McDonough (Micky) of Milton, MA.; his children, Joan Jones, Edward M Swanson (Gina), Mark Swanson (Jodie), Beth Swanson Brower, Robyn Trujillo (Samuel), Erin Schimp (Jeffery), Sean Swanson (Becky) and Shannon Mason; his grandchildren, Jacob Jones (Heather), Cortney Jones, Kelly Jones, Ryan Swanson, Toby Swanson (Ellen), Maegan McBride, Tiffany Swanson, Caitlyn Garcia (Joe), Brendan Brower (Malorie), Ashton Brower, Mackenzie Trujillo Roberts (Sean), Morgan Starr (Kaleb), Layne Swanson, Mandy Overstreet and Evalee Mason; and his great grandchildren, Dakota, Dawson, Maddox, Addisen, Rylee, Emma, Finley, Billy and James.
