With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Flora (Spinola) Fortes (Dorchester, Massachusetts), who passed away on April 7, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio Fortes; and her sibling Benvinda Barbosa. She is survived by: her children, Joao Spinola, Verde, Yolanda Andrade of France, Isaac Barros of Dorchester, Linda Barros of Dorchester and Eneida Barros of Dorchester; and her sibling's children, Barbara Borges and Jose Spinola. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, many cousins and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Flora's memory may be made to St. Mary's Episcopal Church Food Pantry, 14 Cushing Avenue, Dorchester, MA 02125.
