He was predeceased by: his sister Jane Riley of Bourne. He is survived by: his wife Janet F. Shaughnessey (Maloney); his sons, Paul F. Shaughnessey (Kathey) of Dorchester and John P. Shaughnessey of Dorchester; his grandchildren, Kara McLaughlin, Jessica and Melisa Shaughnessey; and his great grandchild Haley Francis McLaughlin.

I will mis his infectious smile, hearty laugh and visiting him whenever I get home to the neighborhood. He is definitely one of my all time favorite men and a role model I have looked up to my whole life. He’s one of the real “good guys”. We will all miss him. Love you all.
