He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Linwood Singleton of Wilmington and Helen Selena Daniels of Halifax; his former wife Jacqueline G. Singleton; his children, Gerald D. Singleton III, Glenn Singleton, Rodney Singleton and Renita Brodie; his granddaughter Larissa Robinson of Pennsylvania; and his sister Velma.
He is survived by: his friend Pops; his spouse Jackie; his daughters, Lisa (James) and Pamela; his grandchildren, Tomeka (George), Rodney, Ibana, James, Gerald IV, Jirayna, Jamal, Jaquan, Destinee and Tayla; his great grandchildren, Marcellus, Darcellus, Tahj, Imani, Brooklyn, Christian, Dreyson, Jacquilyn and Eliyahkam; and his great great grandchild Ava Brielle.
