It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Horace G Shearer (Dorchester, Massachusetts), who passed away on July 11, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Shearer and Marguerite Shearer (DeForest); his wife Mildred; and his siblings, Marguerite, Celeste, Beatrice, Charles, Lloyd, Alexander and Franklin.
He is survived by: his sisters, Delores Nichols and Ruth Collins; his sister-in-law Shirley Toomer; his children, Carmen Mulhern, Carol Shearer-Best and Haji; and his grandchildren, Patanjali, Sakeena, Zenzele, Ayinde and Mark. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
