He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leahy and Bridget Leahy (Molloy); and his brother Brian M. (Evelyn Leahy). He is survived by: his wife Judith D. Leahy (Gallagher); his child Lt. James E. Leahy; his brothers, Gerard H. (Margaret Leahy) of Foxboro, Dennis J and Michael E. Leahy; his sister-in-law Patricia Leahy of Dorchester; and his grandchildren, Stephanie L. Leahy, Katherine A. Leahy and LCpl. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
