He was predeceased by: his wife Claire Curran (Cahill); his parents, Martin Curran and Nora A. Curran; and his brother Joseph. He is survived by: his children, John D. (Denise) of Easton, James M. (Nancy) of Needham, Mary Claire Cantor (Todd) of Milton, Barbara A. Moynihan (Patrick) of Burke, VA and Joseph H. Curran of Milton; his grandchildren, Riley, Justin, Aidan Curran, Meghan, Patrick Curran, Ella, Abby Cantor and Claire Moynihan; and his siblings, Mary DiPerri of South Boston, Barbara Ann Curran of Albany, NY, Noreen Gatto of South Boston, Thomas, Martin and Robert Curran. He is also survived by friends especially all of his children and grandchildren.
