It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Mazurkiewicz (Dorchester, Massachusetts), who passed away on June 14, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wit Mazurkiewicz and Genowefa Mazurkiewicz (Krzesniak); his brother Henry Mazurkiewicz; and his father-in-law William H. O'Connell. He is survived by: his wife Patricia E. "Patti" Mazurkiewicz (O'Connell); his children, Kristen M. (Janilton Goncalves) of Brockton and Lauren C. Mazurkiewicz (Adilson Cabral) of Dorchester; his grandchildren, Dominic, Gabriella Goncalves and Amelia Cabral; his siblings, Edward (Anna Mazurkiewicz) of Dorchester, Helen (Lester Bassill) of Dorchester, Teresa Doetsch (late Richard Doetsch) of Braintree, George (Caroline Mazurkiewicz) of Louisiana, Christine MacDonald of California, Sophie (Alan Bassill) and Barbara (Calvin Bassill); and his parent-in-law Claire R. O'Connell of West Roxbury. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
