He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hicks, Sr. and Jane Hicks (Washington); and his brother Joseph Hicks, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Ramona Hicks (Dardy); his sons, David (Denise Dardy), Darryl (Tara Dardy) and Sam Dardy; his sisters, Barbara Johnson (Hicks) and Pamela Pruitt (Hicks); his brothers-in-law, Stanley Johnson and Tim Pruitt; his children, Darsay Rochell Hicks, Jeanine Sequeira and Leroy Hicks, Jr.; his grandchildren, Isaac E. Thornton, III, Dakari Hicks, Dominic Stephens and Jasmine Cornish; and his great grandchildren, Cameron Jay Thornton and Amaya Avery Thornton. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
