It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Tierney (Dorchester, Massachusetts), born in Milton, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 20, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Boyle and Nora Boyle (Walsh); her siblings, Lawrence, Mary, Charles, Edward and Hazel; her former husband John J. Tierney, Jr.; her son Kevin Tierney; and her stepgrandson Evan.
She is survived by: her children, John Tierney (Jane), James Tierney, Judith Coneeny (John), David Tierney (Joy), Jacqueline Nolan (Jeffrey) and Elaine Johnson (Glenn); and her stepchildren, Bill Moors (Terry), Dianne Martin (Dave), Kathy and Ken (Beverly). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and five step-grandchildren.
