She was predeceased by: her husband Paul F. Desmarais; her son Paul A. Desmarais; and her brother William Power. She is survived by: her children, Jean M. and Paula A. (Christopher Devlin) of South Boston; her siblings, Paul (Rita Power) of Natick, Michael (Kathleen Power) of Walpole and Patricia (Michael Tierney) of West Roxbury; and her grandchildren, Lauryn, Molly Fahey, Christian, Scott, Britney and Andrew Devlin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
