He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Finnerty and Mary Finnerty (Halloran); and his brother-in-law David Rosa. He is survived by: his wife Mary M. Finnerty (Rosa); his children, Jenelle M. Finnerty of Dorchester and Mike; his uncle Patrick Halloran of Chicago; his aunt Mary Finnerty of Ireland; and his siblings-in-law, Roy (Jeanne Rosa) of Swampscott, Margaret (James Sciarappa) of Canton, Janet Dolan and Pauline Meaney. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
